Diablo III: Artisan Tip's and Trick's

In Diablo III, the artisan system in its current state is too expensive to be useful. The blacksmith and jewel crafter both suck up too much of a player's precious gold to be utilized to their full potential. Blizzard has realized this, and has set up several great changes to arrive in the next big patch. Both artisans will be much more useful for players of all levels.

The blacksmith is currently incredibly useless. It costs players an arm and a leg to level him up to the point where he can create useful items, and then it costs too much to make each item, which only has a random chance to be useful to your class. The rare items the blacksmith create have 4 random properties on them, and may or may not be useful to your class (or any other class for that matter). For a random chance at items, the price to craft them is much too high currently. Blizzard is changing the blacksmith in two major ways. Firstly, leveling him up will cost less gold total. This will help entice players to level the blacksmith as they are leveling. Players who are already at the endgame stage should be able to level up the blacksmith with little effort. The second big change involves making the items he crafts cost less. These two chances combine to make the blacksmith a viable source of gear for players.

Casual World of Warcraft

I have been playing World of Warcraft for around a year. I play almost every day. I have leveled many characters over my 1000+ hours of gameplay. I have a level 85 feral druid as my main, I have a high-level mage that's almost level 80 (working on him now) and I have over a dozen other toons that range from very low levels up through 60.

Like I said I have the druid, mage, a hunter and I just started to level a couple priests. My main character I have all my professions maxed out. I did mostly questing up to lvl 85 and I've done a lot of the endgame content. I've completed all of the heroic dungeons and done some raids with my guild and raid finder.

I've focused on getting a range of achievements. I've spent hours just working on those.

So I have pretty good experience with the game. I could go on... I just want to establish that I know what I'm talking about.

In recent years it seems that Blizzard (the company that owns and develops WoW) is leaning more towards trying to build their content for the casual gamer. This isn't making the hard-core gamers happy. They are nerfing a lot of the content. In other words, they're making a lot of the content easier over time. There's a lot of different ways they do that, but bottom line is many of the serious gamers that are really into the endgame content think they take it too far.

New Mobile Game Amazing Alex From The Creators of Angry Birds

Rovio, the master minds behind the huge success game Angry Birds, announced that they are working on a new game "Amazing Alex" also a physics-based puzzler. Amazing Alex is based off the game Casey's Contraptions which Rovio acquired from developers Snappy Touch and Mystery Coconut.

Casey's Contraptions was one of the most impressive iOS games I'd ever seen. Sierra Entertainment's Incredible Machine is what first jumps in mind when describing Casey's Contraptions, but really, this game is more than that. On each level, Casey challenges the player to build a contraption to accomplish a simple goal, usually moving an object from one place to another. The levels involve everything from darts to mechanical punching gloves, RC cars, skateboards, magnets, balloons etc.

You are given an impressive amount of levels with hours of addicting game play. Nearly every level in Casey's Contraptions can be solved in many different ways. There is no "right" way, although you'll probably want to collect all the stars each time.If you get stumped on a level you can see your online friends' solutions, including Casey's three-star solution. This keeps things from becoming too frustrating. But you still will be trying out a lot of trial-and-error solutions. After that, you can also create your own levels and even share created levels and solutions with an amazing social backdrop.
